I was just reflecting on the fact that in two weeks I'll be completely done with my first year of vet school! It's been such a wild journey. I know I complain about having to study all the time, and I cry some days out of sheer exhaustion and frustration.. but I bet I've learned more and done weirder things than most people can even imagine. The really awesome part is that I love it more and more.. I really see myself in this profession. It's exciting and rewarding and just so fun.
I also want to point out that I don't think I would have made it through this crazy year without Aaron. He has been amazing to me. So many days I'd come home after being at the vet school all day and he's in the kitchen making me dinner. He's been the best friend anyone could ever dream of. :) I'm incredibly lucky to have someone like him.
I hung out with Jessica for the first time in a long time yesterday. We had so much fun! I will be so sad to see her leave CS forever.. she's moving back to Dallas on May 15. I really hope we can stay in touch.
This is a picture of the duplex Erin and I are renting starting late July. :) It's BEAUTIFUL..
- get in shape (healthier food and actually go work out)
- make lots of money
- play WoW with Lorn and Colleen and Lindsay or buy Sims3.. or both!
- shadow at a new veterinary clinic
- have exciting camping adventure
- watch EVERY SINGLE world cup game.. on a nice tv
- go see my sister play in Houston with Bluecoats
- build Ollie a better rabbit habitat
- buy prettier furniture and sell some of the crap I have now
- paint
